Yep I met a toyboy and thought that because I was going through menopause I would be safe..Well expect the unexpected.
If anyone thinks that being in their 50s makes them old then think again. I am now into full time study..I have a 4yr old son. am living a single parent lifestyle..and still enjoy a pretty good *** life..(when I can) Well no-one said I was perfect.

I am 55 and my youngest is 6, oldest is 34.

I love kids and have no problems being a single custodial parent.

Thank you for being an oldie but a goodie..very similar to myself.. Nice to know someone else lives life to the full.

I was 34 when I met the - ahum - "toyboy" father of my child. he was 21.
My son is now 16.

To say we rock is absolutely correct...of course I've matured with age...you know the old saying....matured like fine wine ( even if I am the only one who thinks so )...Who Cares...I loves my life.

I am hanging in there as I go through the adoption process and I keep telling myself I will not be the oldest mom in the world just a dedicated one who wanted to ensure the time was right before having a baby....Hugs right back at ya(cant find the icon thing)
