I am New to SFV
Posted
I have 2 girls who are 23 & 14. The 23 yo is an angel. My 14 yo is challenging me to my core. She says things to me that reduce me to tears. She is angry and defiant and rude and disrespectful. She does not like me and I am not too crazy about her (yes I love her!) but I am at my wits end. Grounding her does nothing. taking away her allowance- she could care less. I swear she says and does mean things without any remorse.

I need support, ideas and someone to hold me up.

Thanks, Dev

Welcome

Sorry to read you are having a hard time with your 14-year-old. Teen years, eh?!!
I know all about it cos I have a 17-year-old son.

I suggest you go into one of the more busy topics and post there (like "Open Discussions"), you'll get more response. Not many people post on this one - I guess not too many 50-plus mums on SFV....
