With some questions regarding child support. I am not sure if I am in the right area but I knew yall would be able to help me out.

My name is Stephanie and I am currently going through a divorce. I have a baby girl who just turned 2 on Saturday. YAY!!! I am so proud. I was a Marine Corps wife (or still am actually) and I am getting the run around from my soon to be ex regarding child support. He doesn't want to pay actually and is doing everything in his power to pay as little as he can. Here is my question. He is currently on Recruiting Duty. Is his BAH and Special Duty pay included in the amount he takes home therefore including it in his entire check? Would the percentage be garnished based on his pay with the BAH and special duty pay included or not? I think I am getting the question out right but now quite sure. Any help would be great!

Thank you,

Stephanie

This topic may do better in the military single parents forum. More people will know how to answer it there. As well, you may want to go there and do some reading...
