Well it brought a tear to my eyes too.

Trevor has been extended until November and Kevin is in the early stages of getting ready to go over. I miss Trevor very much and message with him on Saturday mornings, he is my first born and I have very fond memories of when he was born 27+ years ago.

I am 100% behind my boys being over there, even if I think mistakes have been made in what has been done.

Wow, that was deep. I couldn't even imagine dealing with those issues. For either side, the troops or their families. It is so sad.
I guess you really have to count your blessings
with what you have and appreciate it. How sad it would be to have your child or the father of your children go off to war.

I understand the Air Force has much shorter deployments then the Army. The Army deploys them for a year with a mid deployment leave of a couple weeks.
