I know that many of you are not Christian but I find Piece in my hart when I get my daily e-mail from my Divorc Recovery Group . The sight for these groups are http://singleparentsnetwork.com . No matter if you planned the Separation or Divorc; we all are going to go throw the growth in to our new lives. Hold on to the happy memories and try to let the bad ones go. The bad ones will only rot your sole. God Bless all of you.

"When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, 'Do you want to get well?'" (John 5:6).

Are you purposely hanging on to pain, anger, or blame? Are you living off of those emotions? :grouphug: Perhaps you feel that your negative emotions bring you satisfaction or a feeling of control. Do you sometimes think it feels good to get angry at your ex-spouse or to share stories that highlight your ex-spouse's faults? Let go of the negativity that you are clinging to. You don't want your new identity to be grounded in bitterness and resentment.

You must build a new, solid foundation for your life. This foundation must be different, stronger, and deeper than your last. If you build your life in Jesus Christ, you will not be shaken.

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash" (Matthew 7:24-27).

Lord Jesus, I want my life to be so firmly ensconced in You that no storm can knock it down. Amen.
