Well I've had a rough 10 mo. Raising a 6y-d, 5y-d(Autistic) and a 4y-s. Bassically on my own. I can't drive cuase i have siezures so i have to arrange rides. My wife come around to visit when she can. My children are always crying for her. And i don't feel I have the strength to continue on my own. I'm afraid if i get into another relationship then she will want to come back.which she tells me she is going tobut she just don't know when. I want my children to have there mother at home but i don't want to be alone for the rest of my life either. the kicker is we swore we would allways be married no matter what. any and all oppinions are welcome. Everyone should be free to say what they feel as long as they are not cruel or or have malice.

Congrats to you for raising three children. I'm sorry to hear that you are having a rough time. I truly hope it gets better for you.

Just because you said in the beginning that you would always be married . . . sometimes it doesn't work. It's okay that it doesn't. You can not live unhappily just for the sake of someone else. The children can still have a mother even if you are not married to her. Smiler

I dont know what to say really because I have never been married and dont have experience in this but I can say. . . .

welcome to SFV and it's awesome! (PS, dont believe anything Paul says) LMAO j/k

the problem is that they really don't have a mother. She is to wrapped up in her own life. She visit's when it's conveinient for her, she never takes them and i never get a break. There are days that the kids will continually cry for her then i start to cry becuase they are hurting and they turn around and try to comfort me. They should not have to do that.

your right they shouldn't have to do it, but they do it because they do not like to see a parent sad...in their little world of wanting protection, and feeling secure, when their parent feels sad, they will tend to become a bit uptight in teh middle of it all.

I know when I was a child, it bothered me immensely when I saw my mother cry...I didn't like to see anyone cry...

Although crying is normal, and is okay, I saw too much of that, and it ended up preoccupying my mind mostly...

have you sought out any counselling to help you find closure to this, so that you can help yourself to help you children see this through?
