quote: astarte...thank you...she is, inside & out. And you're right bi-racial children are very beautiful. There is something about them that stands out. Hannah's hair is some work at times but I'm getting used to it. It's soft but very curly. I have to condition it twice a day, it's worth it though and so is she.
You are doing much better with her hair than I am with Jewel's. Thankfully she is with her grandma every day (father's mom) and she does it for me. When she starts school it is going to be a real challenge for me. What kind of conditioner do you use? Grandma uses Pink oil and I can't stand it...but it does work. I'd like to find something less greasy.

I wash it every other day. I spray her head with some johnson and johson spray in conditionar every morning and I ahve normaly 2 chioces for her pouf for hair or lots of curls with knots in it tell me about the karma thing I never thought my morning routine would involve styling and making my girl look pretty every morning

That's interesting, sane one! I have a Norwegian friend who has 2 kids with a guy from Ethiopia. Hanna's picture reminds me of her daughter at that age(she is now 15). I also have a son from an African father. My son has "european" hair tho, not afro. He has ringlets. When I finally get (the time/patience/intelligence ) to figure out this photo-downloading thing, I can post some pics...........

I was thinking the same thing. About figuring out how to get a picture on here. My baby is only 1, so I don't have to do much styling yet. Her hair is not as tight as her dads would be, but its kinky. If I brush it out, its puffy afro. If it gets wet, back into the tight curls. It is dry though, and thats why we got that pink stuff. (I meant to look at it last night so I could post the name here, but...) I hope my baby's hair comes out like Hannah's when she gets to that age. I'm not good at doing hair in general, I don't know how I'm going to do it. I guess I'll have to learn. "Tough times never last. Tough people do."

You can get it anywhere..most drug store chains carry it. It's about $8 a bottle, but definitely worth it.
