Hey, all I'm bout to be a new father and as of last night, soon to be a single father, I'm just down and out now. Be trying to make things right, it hard and hurts when she try to talk to you and cant even look at you. It feels that she wants nothing to do you with you. Should I try to get full custudy, my friend god bless her for years of being there for her she is there for me thats why I love her, Tells me what I need to do, I tell her thank you. I'm ready, she says things might change, I'm getting ready on my side with all the stuff at my place. Ne body has some advice for a soon to be single father please tell me.

It's hard to say whether or not you should try to get full custody not knowing the details of your situation. However, if the mother of your soon to be born child is not going to be involved and wants out of both you and your child's life then yes. That will make life so much easier in the long run! Trust me, I wish that I had done it when I had the chance to. Anyway, if she wants nothing to do with the child, have her sign away her rights as a parent. Let me know how everything is going and what your situation is like. We all have stories here. Is the baby a girl or a boy or a surprise? Best of luck! Reply here or email me at F8THnHOPE@excite.com Hope to hear from you

If she wants the baby then I wouldnt recomend trying to get full custody..A baby needs his/her mother..However, you can try and get joint custody..At least that way you'll be able to have the baby when you want..I'm a single mother and there's no way I would let my ex have full custody of our son..Joint custody yes but not full..My best wishes to you..I hope things go your way..Feel free to send me a private message or an email if you have any quesions or if you just want to talk..Good luck to you..
