I am a 20 yr old male with sole custody of my 3 1/2 yr old daughter. looking for grant or scholarship to return to school for computer programming. Want degree desperately so I do not need welfare assistance. Want to earn decent living and raise my daughter appropriately. Please any info would be appreciated. evil_scoobi3@earthlink.net

rtoll, welcome to the site. I don't really have any info for the financial help you are seeking.
Perhaps try for student loans that you might be able to get low interest, pay back after you graduate and start working in your career.
Someone else may have some ideas as well. Thought I'd mention too that it's not always best to post your email address in open forums, just a word of caution, it's up to you. Members can always private message each other, as well as you can choose to be notified by email, while starting a topic, when someone replies.
At any rate, I hope you find what you need.
