Hi all...I stumbled across this website in a search, and thought that I'd post....
I'm James, 25, and in Georgia. I'm a single Father of a 5 year old little girl who I've been raising on my own since she was 6 mos. It's been in interesting ride so far, and Im curious to see how it continues....who am I kidding...I CAN"T WAIT TO SEE!!...lol
She is about to start kindergarten soon, so that's a whole new era about to be ushered in.
If anyone out there wants to chat....another single dad looking to shoot the breeze on childraising, or an honest,intelligent, sincere single mom looking to meet a guy with the same qualities, and a daughter....just drop me a line.

I'm a single mom of a beautiful 3 1/2 yr old little girl. I'm fairly new to single parenthood (@ 1yr)...I have to be honest I jumped on this topic board to see if there actually were any single dads...sounds terrible, I know. But I'm glad to see that there are men that love their children and have taken on the same venture of raising one on their own as I have.

I can tell just by the wording fo your post that you love your daughter pssionately. I am 24 yrs old and have 2 little girls. I havent been a single mom for too long techinically. My husband and I are seperated and he decided to move out of state (South Carolina) and move 6-7 hours away. I do not want a divorce but what good would it do to fight against it.
My little girls are 2.5 & 2 months. My 2 year old is having the hardest time for her and her dad were 2 peas in a pod. My infant will grow up to think this way of life is normal. It breaks my heart he has choose this path, but you cant make someone stay when they dont want to. All I can do is keep saying a little prayer and move on to make life here stable.

I am curious how do you juggle working, taking care of your daughter and any social life? Right now I feel like I am drowning. Also how did you find yourself in the role of single daddyhood?

You should check out Open Disscussion I've noticed its' the most active post wise and full of great people.-all areas are full of great people but this has the most number wise.. hope to chat agian soon..
