Hey everyone, I am a single father of a beautiful 11 month old baby girl. Since getting custody of her I decided to quit my job and become a full time dad. So far things are going very well and I love being a Dad more than any job I have ever had.
Looking forward to chatting with other single parents, male or female in order to share our experience, strength and hope.
Best Regards, Skye - Single father and homemaker.

Skye-
Yeah buddy, good for you. I wish I could get paid to play with my 16 mo. old son. He is the sun, the moon, and the earth in my life. I also filed for full custody and am waiting to see how that goes. Any advice you may have on both maximizing your "daddy time" and securing it thru the court system would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and stay strong! Roll Eyes

Wink Hi Skye! I'm a single dad of 3 boys. Nice to meet you. That experience, strength, and hope thing sounds familiar! Do you know (of) Jimmy K.? It seems we may have a great deal in common. My soon to be ex is still "out there",and I'm about to (God willing) get sole legal custody of my boys. Right now, I stay focused on me and my God and try my best to "stay on the path". Please respond if you read this and if it makes any sense to you. Wink

It's nice to know that there are guys like you out there!
One of the best things in my life is my baby girl, and I really lucked out and am able to take her to work with me looking after a family with children who openly accept her as an honorary sister!
