Nice work mike
I am also 29 and a single dad... my daughter is only 11 months old and i have had to quit my job since getting custody of her but I am getting by. My new job is being her parent and I love it more than any job I have ever had. I hope that things continue to go well for you and your children and i look forward to seeing more posts from you here in regards to how you deal with being a full time single parent that attends school and also works. Best Regards, Skye. |

Hi Mike!
I am pretty much in the same shoes that you are except I am a 25 year old single mother. I have a 6 year old son, 4 year old daughter and 1 year old daughter and I work and attend college, too. This coming semester will be my second, so I still have a few years of struggling ahead of me. It makes everything a lot easier when I think about the future that I will make for my children, though. It's nice to know that there are actually dads out there that care about their kids. Keep up the good work and good luck! |

"I want back in the closet" Lively & Zealous Parent |
Hi, everyone I am 23 and a single mom to a 4 year old. I just graduated with an engineering degree and have started working full time. I would just like to say its nice to hear about young fathers, who are living up to responsibilities. It seems in this country (USA) you hear about dead beat dads but never about the great single ones, just as you never hear about dead beat moms.
