I am a soon to be mom and the babies father and I have been together for almost 4 years. He broke up because of some stupid reasons. Just a couple of weeks ago he told me that is wasnt sure on if he was doing the right thing or not (meaning the break up) and he also told me that he would always be with the person who had his kids. This is the first child for both of us. There are some trust issues that he needs to over come. In your opinion what do you think what he said means? I guess I am holding on to every sting poss. To be with him. Please Help!!!

many a man has said that about their kids who are are no longer with the babies mother...I would have to look at the reasons for the breakup a little closer, after four years people should have an idea why they are with someone,he might be sincere but as long as he holds all the trump cards, you will never know...dont set yourself up for a fall until he is willing to show a few cards on the table. you are gonna have his baby whether he is going to be there or not....the situation is no longer about him....and it should procede from that point...good luck

If he wants to try to make the relationship work I would say find a person you both can trust that can help both of you see and work on whatever issues there are. Do not rush things! If both of you work to make it work it will, one of you can't do it on your own.

It is worth talking and trying but use some logic and not just your heart.
