I understand that fear, really i do and alot of it is that you know you cant trust him, he already betrayed you and broke your heart and you dont want your son to feel the pain you are feeling.

Now he wants to act like I am his buddy and nothing happened! He was saying that he would watch my disabled son four nights a week so I can work but then backed out and is now only watching him 1 night a week (thank God I have nurses). Tonight was the one night this week he had to watch him and he calls me at work to see if I can leave early beacuse his girlfriend's grandmother was in a coma and wasn't expected to last much longer. I told him that she knows how to drive, and she should drive herself. She said she wasn't sure she could drive home. There was no way I was leaving early for her! So I said no. When I got home I confronted him about trying to back out on the one night he spends with his son (he sees him for a few hours on Sunday too but has already backed out on 1 visit and we have only been seperated for 5 week). He got pissed at me. He spends 6 nights a week with this girl, that's why he cut back on watching my son. Is it too much to ask that he live up to his responsibility?! I told him that his son should be the most important thing in his life. He always was when we were together. My son is 2 1/2 and knows Daddy doesn't live here anymore but I don't think he fully comprehends. He knows something is up though. He has been very clingy with me lately and he's never like that. I just don't want this man to break my son's heart and I see it coming. He wants everyone to think he is "Super Dad" and puts on a great show and says all the right things to people, but his actions speak louder than words. I know I should just stop confronting him and let these things go, but it tears me up that he is pushing my son aside for this woman.
Thanks for listening everyone. [/qb]
