How would you deal if your ex was dating a 24 yr old stripper, he is goin on 37... he won't answer the cell phone when the kids call him cause he is with her... everyday! all day! he quit his job....... grrrrrrrrrr help me deal plz??????

Hello and welcome to the site. I really wish that I could give you some news or advice that would make this magically easier. All you can do is be there for your kids when they try to call him and he doesn't answer. There isn't anything else that you can do. My brother, who is only 25 himself, left his wife a year ago w/my at the time 2 year old nephew and began living w/a stripper who had 3 kids of her own. It hasn't been easy for any of us to deal w/including that precious little boy. He has since left that stripper and moved onto and in w/another, but there isn't anything we can do except be there. That is all you can do, too! I wish you lots of luck and hope that things resolve themself before your kids end up hating their father.

I have read so many things already, questions, answers, debates ( lol ), you are all so great here... I had been looking for something just like this and I am so happy that I was brought here....

It is just so hard when he says he doesn't have any money, but yet he is taking her and her child out to eat, shopping, renting movies and such... It seems so petty at times, but I just can't handle the fact that he won't take time for his own children, but all the time in the world for this one and her child...

We have a daughter that is 20. She is there now, and he won't take time to spend with her at all!!!!!! She has been begging for 5 days now, and he is always busy, won't answer the phone or too tired... She knows about this woman and is very upset with the fact that she is nearly her own age...

Is there something wrong with all of this? What he is doing, and with who he is doing it with...

My kids dad has been dating his stripper girlfriend for 3 years now. I went to club and saw her one night. It made me feel better, but I have a sick sense of humor.

I felt better because I really saw what he left me for. I won't elaborate, but she has dentures.

hey, sorry about the ordeal, but try to get your kids off the topic of dad, make a new family tradition, without him! when I got divorced, on everyones birthday, we all write a letter, the whole family, (of course I type it) and we say what has happened in the last year, bad and good. and keep it in a notebook. sometimes just looking back you will see patterns, like my kids would always say, "dad is never picking us up" and someday, when he is old, he is the one that has to deal with that. eternity is a long time, and some things you cant do over, and hopefully he will decide to be a father, I pray that for all of us here, my self included. know that you are not alone! tootie

Thank you left and tootie... that is a lot of great advice you gave me there... I would love to be able to go and see what he is finding so much more exciting then our children, but I live 6 hours away and not able to that on the spur of the moment. I do plan on seeing her in action when I take my 10 yr old to the Drs in his area next week (she has a heart condition and a growth on her thyroid)for her thyroid tests once more... I think it will do me a lot of good to do this. I do not want to talk to her, nor approach her. Just want to see for myself is all.

The thing about the notebook is a great idea. I don't have a problem doing things without dad, it was always like that. Most holidays it was me and the kids, either he was home on the couch (there physically but not mental or spiritually)or too busy to attend anything with us. Even school functions, plays, choir concerts etc....

I appreciate this all and letting me vent in here, I felt so good yesterday when I left.. I didn't even cry last night!!! I hope I can be of help to someone else here too... I am blessed to have been brought to this site....

Wow!!! You are so lucky that you aren't with that guy any more!!! What a LOSER he is!!!! Really, he must be quite pathetic!
