Happy Birthday to me :bdcake: Well actually Saturday.

I will admit that I went through a few days of the 30 blues. There were so many things and places that I had planned on being when I turned 30. Such as being married with children, a succesful career a dog picket fence and all.

But guess what for my birthday I got something even better. It is clarity about life and the ability to "let it go".

I am blessed everyday. My son turns 7 today and he is healthy and happy humorus and handsome with the soul of a man wiser than his years. I have a daughter who is also healthy and happy with the bravery of an explorer, who is sensitive compassionate and loves until it hurts.
I have a career that I am in the position to help those in need. I work with people (some) who love what they do and the patients we see feel it.

I may not be living the fatasy of my youth, but I am living in the blessings that God gives me everyday. I thought that it was just soemthing that women said that, with age come wisdom. Well a leason that I am learning is that I am happy with me and with my life, my body my mind and spirit.

I know, I am rambling but I am just happy to be at peace with me. :lovesfv:

Happy Birthday to the both of you. I find that I get older on my children's birhtddays...and mine don't bother me as much anymore.

I did implement not turning any older this year. From now on, I'm buying my Mom a birthday cake on my birthdays. She can gain the weight and celebrate..I'm staying 25 forever.

My birthday is on the 15th of this month. I went through similar experience with turning thirty blues. I am greatful to be wiser than I was in my twenties, to have a new outlook on life and decisions that I make.
Most of all, I am thankful for having my sanity and two gorgeous boys!!!

I'm going to be 36, the day after you aunder75. I thought I had it all figured out in my late 20's.
I had to get my license renewed the other day. I had the same picture from when I was 28, and I asked if I could keep it so I could be 28 for another 6 years. Couldnt do it. I was surprised how different I look at 36. Not older, maybe just the wiser part. Now I understand what all the "older" people in my life back then were trying to tell me. Life doesnt always turn out how you planned.
Anyway, :bdsong:
Oh, and I plan on having a blast in life when I'm 50.

Old is relative to well being. With the life I have had I should look like a grey haired prune. I also found that well being is not nessicarly mean happy. Purhaps its the state of the soul.

wow, I sound a bit windy tonight Razzer
