Hi everyone,

I came across this site a few times in the past while but only got registered today...so I thought I would introduce myself.

I'm a single mother, turning 31 this fall, of a 5 month old boy. We live in Saskatchewan, Canada (anyone else here from Canada?). I am not a single mother by choice. While I was still pregnant, the father decided to be selfish and think only of himself, (coming and going in and out of our lives as he pleased) we are no longer together. I've been single since last september. My son was born on December 12, 2003, and his father has seen him twice when he was 3 months old, and hasn't shown any interest since then. We are doing much better without him in our lives that's for sure. *smiles* ...I am in the process of building an online business and will be going for my teachers assistant certicate after he turns a year old...and I can find a sitter that I trust. *laugh*

Well I just wanted to say hi and intro myself. I look forward to getting to know everyone here.

yes, you're right, we're better off without them. And it gets even easier with the kids, with time, I find (it might get harder later, mine is almost 2 years old now, I don't know).
