Hello, everybody! I'm new (as you can see) and was just wondering how all this works?

I'm 38 and have not had much social interaction with other people in my 'age' bracket (traditionally or online) for about 12 years now so I'm just a little lost on how these online communities work. I'm just so used to working, sleeping, loving my baby, and working some more. I gave up on the traditional social gatherings because I have this other human who relies on me and deserves for me to be with her. But, now that she is approaching the dreaded 'teen' years, I have just realized that I am alone. All my friends are gone, save for a handful, and when I realized this I kind of got scared. That's when I found SFV.

The only problem is that I'm not too internet savvy. I can play games, get email, shop (of course), and even work online but I'm so 'outta shape' with social arenas that I've always been a bit nervous about joining.

So please bear with me, I'm still figuring all this out.

I'm still learning so thanks again. Tell your little one that she is absolutely adorable. I love the curly-Q's. My bubby was born with straight black hair that stood up all around her little bubby-face. Oh, sooo cute! Now her hair is a little darker than mine.
