I am New to SFV

Hello everyone,
I am new to the site and was hoping to meet other single parents. It seems not many people are here now because so many posts are from 2003.
I have read many of the posts and can relate with sooooooo many. I have a 9 yr old monster girl & 2 monster boys ages 11 & 13. I say monster with all the luv a mom can have. They are my strength and reason for waking up each day.
There are days I just want to stay in bed with cover over my head so that I don't have to deal with the everyday stresses of being a single strong proud parent.
To the single moms...keep doing what is best for your monsters....
To the single dads....I have much respect for u all for making the decision to step up and be both mom and dad....

Bless u all!!!

"Keep on keeping on!!!"

Hi and welcome. I just started with this site a week or so ago myself. I totally understand the Monster part. I have a 9yr old male monster and a 6yr old female monster and I too say that with all the luv in my heart. They are my reason for living.
My name is Trish by the way. I'm right smack in the middle of a divorce as we speak. Hoping it wont last long because I'm just tired of the garbage that goes with it all. Want to live my life for me and my children and loose the extra baggage. I also give kudo's to the men out there raising their kids too. Lucky for me I have a male friend who Is going through a divorce also. I give him sooo much credit for not acting like the man I'm divorcing. He's doing what every dad should- showing his kid how much he means to him. Told him about this web site but he says he's too computer stupid to figure it out. Anyway, It is good to know there are so many people who have probably shared all the same feelings I'm going through right now. It helps to not feel so alone all the time.
Bless you to for having the strength to be a good parent to those children. they make everyday better.
