Hi guys, My name is Brian and I am new here. I have to go to family support court for the first time for a child support ruling. I have been giving my ex wife $300.00 every 2 weeks for 7 months now. She wants more.In NJ they go by a formula. There is no need for a lawyer or any type of representation. Basically I have a feeling they are going to tell me that I need to pay $800.00 per month. Does this figure sound high. My boy is in daycare and it does cost us $830 a month but does he really need that musch between his mom and myself. It just sounds high. I see my son everyday and think that the bonding we do in that time is so benificial to him and I also have him every other weekend. I want to be the best dad possible but how can I when they are going to give her half of my take home pay. I will have to get a 2nd job just to make up for the loss. Oh yeah guys... You will love this. She has merry-maids come in now to clean a 3 bedroom townhouse, wide screen tv,and a new outfit everyday. It sure doesnt sound like she needs any more money now does it.
