OK!

I have learned that my ex and her husband want to buy my 14 soon to be 15 year old son a Kawasaki Ninja 250R.

I have til July 27 to get my ducks in a row. I do not want my son to have a bike as a first vehicle! They also don't want to back to there mothers. They are ready to go to court now so they don't have to go back. The court house in my county dosn't keep forms and the capitol court house is in the process of moving. This is like a bad dream.

All I need is a signed affadivit stating that the children want to live with me. Is there a generic form or something? I am about to go through all of my paper work to find anything I can scan and print. If any body knows anything I would invite you for some TEXAS BBQ. Hell I might even ship it to you. Is this a form of bribery?

If the kids dont want to go back and are willing to say so in court or the judges chambers, what do you need an affidavit for? PM me your email address and i'll send you a blank one if i can find it.

Two thoughts,1- check with local notary public perhaps, or 2- go to findlegalforms.*** and download for about 6 bucks if you need to.

I would have thought the courthouse would keep forms, even in the law library where you could make a photocopy, oh I guess that's three thoughts.

Good luck

Have them go with you to a notary. They need some sort of id (school id should work) And have them sign a statement in front of the notary stating they want to live with you.

Hi,
When I once needed an affidavit I went to the town hall with my declaration typed out and the clerk put the town stamp on it and it was accepted. I live in a small town, so maybe it's not the same in a larger city. Good luck!
