I have been a single parent for about three years now and this is the first time that I have seen a site like this. I've always wanted to have something like this and now i have found it and already I feel better. I get tired of hearing people tell me what I should do when they have never been in my shoes. To be truthful my family isn't very supportive when it comes to giving their opinion. They always seem to make me feel like I'm not doing enough. In reading some of the posts and replies I can tell that You are a group of good people trying to help one another out.

yea i sort of felt the same way you did while ago. my family said the same thing and at times said nothing. but in here i meet a few good friends who became terrific support i guess because we all went through the same thing. yea i thought it was great and still think it is a great forum.

It seems rude to just jump into a conversation...sort of like using all capitals. It doesn't really matter, though because I can't afford to spend monies I need to raise my son just to get into a conversation with folks who are single parents. It seemed like a good site at first but little by little I am beginning to believe it is all about the money.
