I'm a 34 year old single father of two kids aged 11 and 9 that live with me half the time. The EX lives a mile away. I'll always love and admire her but since she's moved on with her life then I really have no choice but to move on myself so that I can continue to grow and be a good father. If it wasn't for my kids I would've moved far, far away. But I didn't because I love my kids and realize that to do so would be devastating on them.

I'm hoping to make new friends in the local area with others who are single parents. This sounds like a good forum to do so Smiler

I'm a 30yo single dad that grew up in Herndon (went to Oakton HS). I don't live in VA anymore though...
