I'm new, and my name is Jeff. It's been 10 months since my children were taken from their mother and placed with me. We're doing pretty well as a whole. Firstly it's just that my 10 year old daughter is, well, 10. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do about her 'bossy'+ 'preteen' attitude? Something to at least mellow the 'tude down a bit? I have been trying so hard to compromise by giving her space, yet be firm at the same time. I know the absence of her mother has an impact on her 'tude, but what I'm seeing is pretty much an age thing. Help please.
