That's a good thread Don posted. The geek in me thinks that I can put up a couple of lines of code and people will automatically get it. Gotta get me some people skills....

The hard part may be finding a place on the web to post your pics for free. I'll volunteer my site as a place to put pics if anyone wants until they get their own.

Yeah, sorta. I've really only been in the biz about 10 years. Went back to school after I got out of the military after the Gulf. You?

I just turned 30. I've got degrees in Mechanical, Electrical, and Computer Engineering. Right now I'm designing a power panel with an ethernet port, so you can read all the currents through a web page. Does that qualify me as a nerd? Smiler

CT is a few hours across. Which side are you on?

Well if I wasn't afaid of static shock I'd give you a big 'ole kiss too. I have a very big soft spot for anyone who is willing to put themselves in harms way so that I can feel safe and sleep better at night. Dare I ask what branch?

I was in the Navy about 12 years, a Hospital Corpman, about half the time with the Marines ( that's where they get they're field medics).

And yeah, be careful of the monitor, don't get your lips stuck on the glass....

Yeah, we did. I gotta split anyway; meeting one of my sons.

Want everyone to know how much I appreciate this place, people taking notice and showing they care, however long distance.

Later.

So do you Navy men really have a girl in every port or is that just a myth? My uncle was in the Navy but he won't kiss and tell. My grandfather was a merchant marine and I was too young to know about such stuff to ask.

Sorry no. I was married for 23 years...come to think of it I still am, not quite divorced yet.
Got married during my second enlistedment, kinda put the kibosh on the wild life.
