I just won full custody of my 3 kids. The mom was alienating them from me during the divorce and i won full custody. She played extremely dirty. How do I deal with the kids when this happens. athe boy is fine but the girls start crying at night.

Welcome

Congratulations

Hold them, hug them, and tell them they have you now. If they need to let them fall asleep on you or let them sleep with you (not the best idea for your sleep)

This is a problem I haven't had as all of my kids like me better then their moms.

My brother won custody of his kids last year and had the same problem at first. It will take time but just reassure them over and over that you are there for them and tell them it's okay for them to miss their mom and just let them cry. My niece doesn't cry anymore at night but it took a while for her to get used to having her dad around all the time and not her mom. I feel for you, cause I know what you're going through. My heart broke everytime my niece and nephew cried out for their mom, there's nothing you can do and it's hard, but stay strong and they'll learn to depend on you. Best of Luck.

Just reassure them that you and their mum love them very much and even tho you have full custody maybe encourage them to write to their mum they will feel berift without her at first but dont make the same mistakes she did by turning nasty. Dont try and turn them against her be real give em love and understanding and plenty of cuddles find alternative ways they can include mum in their lives in the long run this will strengthen your bond and prevent long term resentments.
