I more than understand that one. You don't know what it is like to be a woman and I don't know what it's like to be a man. It's really hard to know where they are coming from and how to help them with things that only a man or a woman can understand, especially in the teen years.

I tryed for 18 years, you cannot help someone who will not let you. I am done, my girls won't let her back in the house, nor would I. I waisted a lot of year of my life with her. if it hadent been for my girls I would have figured I totally waisted my life. I don't like starting over, but this time I am in it for love. I just want to be happy the rest of my life.

I look at life like none of it was wasted, just detoured. I know that I have learned something from every experience in my life, good and bad. There was a time when I did see my life as wasted but now I just roll with the punches, expect them to be there and not allow myself to stay knocked down for too long. I have noticed though as time goes on and more punches get thrown, I get more gun shy. It gets harder to trust people. I struggle to not become a hermit, where it's safer.

Any one else struggle with that?

No, I am in it for the long haul, I will never get there if I hide from life and love. I am going at it full steam ahead, heck with the damage when you hit the pier. A year ago I may have been gun shy, not anymore. I would rather try and fail then not tryat all.

See, I have been divorced for 11 years. I've been through several relationships since then, one of which gave me my beautiful daughter. I seem to pick all the wrong people to have in my life. I wasn't gun shy at first, now I am. I don't trust my own instincts anymore.

I shouldn't trust mine instincts either, I got in a relationship with a girl I loved very deeply. but it was too much for her, sigh, never seen a person with so many trouble in life, she broke up with me. Still I am charging ahead, we only pass through life once, I have limited time, as do we all. will I be hurt again, maybe, still life is not something you go out peacfully with, its kicking and screaming for me.
