My name is Sugarplum and am new here. I am in the process of trying to adopt an infant as a single parent and even though I am really happy and excited(process is moving along nicely) I keep tearing up and feeling emotional.Yesterday I almost bought my first baby item but didn't do it. I keep telling myself its too soon and need to wait until I am "matched". Is there anyone else out there who is going thru the same thing or knows someone? I need support buddies...

Goodluck.... My good friend who lost her son at age 11 and I were discussing adoption. She still has not decided, but has health issues on her plate. I happened to get pregnant after breaking up with a short relationship.
I still cry alot... cuz having your child is soo unreal, soo wonderful! Good luck! I hope you the child is all my son is to me!

Thanks for your encouragement...I am doing better with the tearing up thing this week. I am also completely done with turning in all the documents needed to complete. The only thing left will be waiting...join me in prayers.
