It was wonderful to read the posts here from over 40 Moms. I am a single 45 year old mom of two boys - ages 7 and 8.

For me, having children late in life is a huge lifestyle change after being childless for so many years. My boys are the joy of my life and as many have posted, finding a man my age interested in starting a relationship with someone that has children so young seems impossible. For now, my goal in life is to raise two happy, healthy wonderful boys. I do find it lonely and overwhelming at times Frowner but life is amazing!!

Welcome first off. No its not impossible, there are a lot of people who start late having kids... I figure it as a time of no hurries.

Never take someone for granted. Hold every person close to your heart because you might wake up one day and realize that you've lost a diamond while you were too busy collecting stones...

Welcome
I am another mom in that age group.
I found my love when I had tossed in the towel on trying.
I think focusing on you and your little family is key.
Being healthy and happy shows to the world.

Life sure is amazing. Finding the time to date inbetween the cooking, cleaning, shopping, working, homework guidance, bills, is very difficult.

The importance in parenting your boys is something I gave priority in my life as well over the dating thing.

I'm in the same boat with ya.
