For all of you who don't know my ex was in a car accident back in 2004, My daughter grew up knowing the reason for her mother been in the hospital. I always told her about the accident, anyway, up to this point she didn't really comprehend the fact that mommy was supposed to live with daddy , I always knew that the moment she starts school she was going to see that the other kids live with their mothers. She alway says she doesn't like her mother, the other day after I asked her about it she said she didn't like her mother because she was in bed instead of up and well, this, of course, broke my heart.

it's really tough to explain things..while they are still really young. As they get older, they will understand more and more....and you will be able to explain it.
