Taking Kati to school, or attend some activity at school is a trip.
All the mothers know I am a single dad, to a girl.
it never fails, the mom's measure kati from top to toe, checking how I dress her, her hair etc..
And I her them wisper behind my back...
Wisiting my friend back in OH, he laughingly told me, her first comment after they was alone was:
"He keep her clothes nice, but should nopt have cut her hair"

Oh my, do I know what it feels like to have my parenting sized up by nosy mothers. I also have the issue of my age (19 years older than my son), which makes the school mother's assume that I must be parenting badly.

BTW - You should be able to edit your old posts. In the bottom right hand corner of the post, should be three icons: "Reply with Quote", "Delete/Edit Post", and "Report This Post." If you use the Edit icon, then you don't have to post follow-up corrections. Hope that helps.

Later,

Just wait til it's bra shopping time Leif.
I took my daughter for her first bras a few years back and when my mom found out, she had to inspect to be sure I did it right Big Grin I did get her approval though.
I do agree, some people tend to look a little closer to see how us single dads are doing at parenting, but yes......we are quite capable.
