Ok, so seriously... When my washer goes into spin cycle, MY ENTIRE HOUSE VIBRATES!!!! It doesn't matter where in the house I am, the whole house goes into convulsions...

Have you balanced it? There are normally balancers on the bottom of the washer. Put a level on it and see. Hope that works for you.

You can also adjust the tub balance inside the washer if you pull the front of the washing machine open---or just sit on the washer and read a book and get over it

Start with adjusting the legs...if you haven't.

Leftover I had the same question for B but was afraid to ask.
Check your washer for the internal balance some do not have it. Mine doesn't.

Ok, ok.. I never thought I'd get 10 responses out of this.... but if I gave you all a chuckle, GLAD I DID!!!

After all, if we don't have laughter, leave it to Lindsay to bring it on..

And as for Blindsky.... deny it all you want, I know what's on YOUR mind.

Deny, deny, deny...... then sit on it.

We have a washer that is only a year old. It doesn't even make noise let alone shake the house.

Leftover, I did have to tell someone at work on you. I told them how funny it was for the girl who has a motorcycle and works with all guys to say she didn't know about leveling the legs on the washer. I thought you knew everything!

Not to worry leftover, my biggest chuckle was with Sky's denials. Besides I just caught something on a sitcom last night about a washing machine and well, the pregnancy it helped bring on

What? No one has seen National Lampoon? The wifey makes a comment about her husband going out of town for work all the time, and how she uses the washing machine (on spin of course) to "relieve her tension." Big B, I swear thats what you meant.

I never claimed to know everything .. I feel flattered.. Thanks big B.

I leveled the stove when I moved in, but that was only because I wanted the "stove funk" to run downward as it's easier to clean.

I also leveled the fridge so when you leave the doors open gravity will shut them automatically..

What Lampoon's are you referring to, Seraphin?

BTW, so glad my dumb vent about living in a double wide could bring you all a laugh.. I live for that.

lefty,

The Lampoon where they are camping. The two wives are comparing lives (stay at home bored wife & busy working wife) Its hilarious cuz later in the movie the two ladies are fighting and the busy working mom screams "Oh why don't you just go sit on a washer!" and the two husbands looked at each other like "huh?!" Awesome.
