Default New to CT

Hi everyone!

I am a single mother of a 4-year-old boy. We just moved to Hebron, CT from the San Francisco Bay Area. I grew up in MA, and I feel New England is a better place to raise kids. Plus it just feels like home here! Most of my old East Coast friends are in NYC now, and I didn't know anyone here in CT before we came. We have been here since August, and we are slowly starting to make friends, but I figure I might be able to make more here! =)

Hi

Where is CT? Is that Connecticut(sp?).

Why is it hard to make friends there?

Sometimes it´s hard to make friends anywhere...
that´s why this place is so great! Always someone to "talk" to!

It's not necessarily hard to make friends, but it's not easy either. haha. I live in a small town and most of the people I work with don't have kids, so even though its fun to hang out with them, it'd be nice to hang out with someone who has kids too.

Is that picture of you recent? Do you do a lot of traveling? We just went to Europe and Hawaii this past summer.
