If you are pregnant, like me...
And the doctors say they are worried about something... DONT get worried til they are sure something is wrong. CHANCES are, there is nothing wrong. BUt they like to scare you.
And you worried for no reason.
Its really not worth it!!!

AMEN!!!!
I have had 7 pregnancy with only 3 living children. SO, I have reasons to worry. They found something wrong with every pregnancy. Still, 3 survived!!! My son who is perfect (16 months old 30lbs and 34 inches tall), they told me his kidney ducts where too big when I was prengnant. KIDNEY DUCTS?!?! Who measures that?? He's perfect. So, until the finial test just pray!! <><

This is so true. And remember, you can choose to learn what the tests are for and decide if you want to even have them done. Just becuase they are routine, doesnt force you to take them.

Yes you have to take a doctors advice with a grain of salt, they are trying to do their jobs and make sure nothing is wrong. If they see a possible sign, they want to let you know, but usually its nothing. I had 6 sonograms because the doc was concerned about my sons size, posistion, and the size of his head. She said he sat "wrong" in my uterous and they thought I'd have a difficult labor, or not even be able to deliver (he was ____ down, feet up.. my silly boy) plus she said his head was abnormally large and that might create problems when pushing. She was gearing up for a C-section for sure. Well, turns out, I went into labor myself, only labored for 8 hours, and pushed him out in three pushes, and he was perfect! (Still is, of course ) His head is still a punkin-head tho... I love it. Can't find hats tho !

I know that faith plays a strong part in these types of situations, but do you really think had you not followed the doctors advice that you still would not have miscarried? <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">Originally posted by michellecathleen:
[qb] very well said ugot2besaved. when i was pregnant with my son i had abnormal bleeding that my doctor thought could be a miscarriage. it lasted almost 2 weeks. well i had already seen my baby on ultrasound and saw that he was a boy so the thought of loosing him just was not an option. i was put on bedrest and i layed on my couch everyday with an ultrasound picture on the table next to me. i would look at that picture all the time and pray, pray, pray. well, a few months later a healthy 9 lb. 14 oz. baby boy was born! i know it was God who saved my son.
